It is one of the most beautiful mountains in Serbia with ample natural resources situated 200km south-east of Belgrade. It is part of the Carpatians, and its highest point Šiljak-Spike (1570m) is a natural phenomenon of the karst relief.

North slopes of mountain are covered with forests and pastures, overgrown with native herbs and rich with natural water springs. Hunting area extends on 6368ha - hunting game includes roe deers, chamoises and wild boars.
